R4 Software Features in Brief![]() ![]() ![]() Kingly Club ![]() ![]() ![]() |
If used for time and attendance, R4 can produce a payroll based against the hours worked and the hourly rate applicable for each member of staff. The iButton key determines which working screen automatically opens to each member of staff when they logon to a terminal. ie: barman or food waiter. A manager would have access to the whole system and only the manager would have authorisation to action certain functions. Such as voiding transactions or giving discounts etc. By simply Holding a transaction, multiple staff members can operate on a TS700/TS750 terminal at the same time. Held transactions can be accessed on any terminal connected in a network, thus enabling staff to move freely between terminals whilst serving the same transaction. R4 has a massive 150 main screens, each with up to 100 buttons and it can handle up to 9999 items. By operating the Cash Declaration feature, the actual amount of takings must be confirmed into the terminal before an X or Z reading can be printed. As a recommended option, any busy operation would benefit greatly with the installation of a back office stock management system. The Bleep back office database package enables Terminal programming to be conducted on a PC and then distributed to the terminals either immediately or at a determined time. The back office system stores full details all the suppliers together with all the costs relating to the goods they supply. By storing the price bought and the price sold, the back office can deliver instant reports showing the profit levels achieved on individual products or categories. Partial or full stock taking reports can be produced on demand. To avoid ordering problems, alerts can be issued when the minimum agreed stock level of a product is reached.
